Eight Barnet borough pubs open on Christmas Day 2026, from a £61.99 lunch at the Five Bells to £125 at the Spaniards Inn. Updated November 2026.
Eight pubs in Barnet borough are open on Christmas Day 2026, and this guide puts their prices, deposits and booking rules in one place. For a traditional lunch, most people book the Orange Tree by the pond in Totteridge (£115), the Three Hammers in Mill Hill (£79.95) or the Five Bells in Finchley, the cheapest at £61.99. For a pint, Ye Olde Mitre Inne on Barnet High Street opens its bar. Every entry was checked against the pub’s own site on 8 November 2026.
Christmas Day is a Friday this year. There is no Tube, no London bus and no Thameslink train in Barnet on 25 December, so plan the journey both ways before you book; our Christmas travel page has the details. Every pub below that serves lunch takes a deposit and a pre-order, and some want the full balance by 1 December.

How we chose
These are the pubs in Barnet borough that say on their own websites that they are open on Christmas Day 2026. We started from our Barnet pubs guide and the pubs in our business directory, and kept every place whose site gives a Christmas Day menu, price or opening for this year. Prices, deposits and opening times are the pubs’ own, read on 8 November 2026. Several popular pubs have not yet put up their Christmas Day plans, and we will add them when they do. For the festive menus pubs serve on other December days, see our Christmas dinner guide.
